Rest in peace Cindy Camp
My dear, sweet, wonderful friend and bandmate, Cindy Camp, passed away on Monday the 23rd from complications after a stroke.
Cindy was the best bass player I ever played with. She knew how to play just the right notes and not any extraneous ones. We got back in touch when the Ticks started doing some reunion gigs back in 2015. Ever since then, we stayed close. She and I would call each other on the phone and start singing a song when the other answered. Many times I would start this song because the line, "I ain't saying, you ain't pretty" cracks me up:

Cindy and her husband Dee would help me get my mind off my worries when my sister Kathy got sick. Sometimes I just needed Cindy's sense of humor. They saw me through some dark times. They would also help me with my yard when the jungle started to take over. I had just seen them a few days before to talk about doing a yard project and discuss ideas. It is crazy to me that she is gone. I am missing her mightily.
