GAF 2017

GAF this year was better than ever.   Steve and I demoed the Tandem Covert canoe.  We got a big boof at 2:20 in this video made by my friend Travis P.   So much fun!

Alagasco, alas

Alagasco, a name that is a nice portmanteau of the words, "Alabama" "Gas" and "Company", and has been the name of a company for over 150 years, will be changing its name to "Spire", a name that has no meaning and sounds like a marketing intern approved it after an anonymous source came up with it in a crowdsourcing campaign.

My friends in the band NOYOKO recorded this cool version of Please Please Me.  They envisioned what the song might have sounded like based on John Lennon's original concept to the song. History shows that George Martin suggested speeding it up, and as they say, the rest is history.  Arranged by George Vinson. Check it out:

Meow meow meow meow

This is one of my favorite videos.  She is fantastic.   It also makes me think of how I was quietly singing the melody to Rule Britannia to myself in the British Museum, but with the words Meow... meow meow meow... as the words.  My friend Allison started that I think...
